We are currently seeking an experienced Wastewater Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Meridian, MS.

Responsibilities
Supervision: Lead and oversee the wastewater maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, plans, and preventive maintenance programs for wastewater treatment facilities and associated equipment.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards governing wastewater treatment operations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Budget Management: Collaborate with management to manage and optimize the maintenance budget, including procurement of equipment and supplies.
Training and Development: Facilitate ongoing training and development programs for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
License: Class IV Wastewater Operator License or willingness to obtain the license within 2 years of employment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in wastewater maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and maintenance best practices.
Familiarity with SCADA systems and other control technologies.
Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with team members, management, and regulatory agencies.
