Dementia Care Director (DCD)

The Claiborne has an immediate opening for a Dementia Care Director and is offering competitive pay with great benefits.

The Dementia Care Director is responsible for creating, coordinating, implementing, and leading all resident programming and staffing aspects of Claiborne Senior Living’s signature Tempus program (Dementia/Memory Care) at the community.
This care includes assisting the residents in maintaining their physical and emotional health.
Dementia Care Director (Duties) Develop and implement a vibrant monthly calendar.
Plans and organizes community events.
Hands on programming director, leads daily activities, resident advocate.
Coach and train memory care caregivers and community caregivers on dementia and cognitive impairment approach and behavior modification.
Participates in “Manager on Duty” program.
Other duties as assigned.
Dementia Care Director (Qualifications) Earned degree in mental health or social services (preferred) Prior programming experience.
