Activity Director

Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of activities for residents in an assisted living facility - Develop and implement engaging programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation - Conduct assessments to identify individual resident needs and preferences - Provide support and guidance to residents and their families regarding aging issues and care options - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for residents - Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress Skills: - Experience in memory care or senior care settings - Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and caregiving techniques - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members - Ability to provide counseling and support related to aging issues - Familiarity with dementia care principles and strategies - Proficiency in organizing and coordinating activities for a diverse group of individuals - Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by seniors in an assisted living setting As an Activities Director, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
