Job Summary:
Drive tractor trailer to deliver and merchandise beverages to customer locations.
Delivery stops will vary between unloading product to the ground using a lift gate and six wheeled cart and backing the trailer into a dock and unloading using an electric or manual pallet jack.
Drivers are required to deliver in a timely and customer service focused manner.
Routes begin between 5 and 6 AM and work until all deliveries are completed averaging approximately 10 hours per day.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Drive tractor trailer in a safe and responsible manner following all Federal, State, and company guidelines and regulations
Maintain a high level of professional image and customer focus
Operate electric/manual hand held computer and printer
Deliver and merchandise products
Control inventory to ensure product freshness and security
Execute marketing programs
Conduct care and maintenance of equipment
Handling and securing of cash and other payments
Operate electric and manual pallet jack as well as six wheeled and 2 wheeled cart
Live and model the BBG Vision and TEAM BROWN Values
Execute other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
Lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and 60 pounds intermittently
Work approximately 10 hours per day
Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, standing, walking, and squatting frequently
Work Environment:
Tolerate working in cold temperatures as low as 35 degrees for prolonged periods of time
Able work outside in all weather conditions
Qualifications
Must have a valid Class A MS Driver’s license with clear MVR
Must have a valid DOT medical card
Excellent communication/negotiation skills
Minimum of 1 year of sales or merchandising experience required
Ability to work within a team
Ability to transition verbal or written communication/directive to in-store execution
Sufficient math skills to perform calculations of margins and other sales related functions
