Overview:
Responsible for coordinating and supervising all catered events and scheduled activities including picnics, luaus, after hours events, special events, and birthdays, following the Park policies and procedures.

Pearl River Resort Associates are required, on a continual basis to… Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.
Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.
Responsibilities: Welcomes customers to the park in a friendly, courteous manner.
Follow all rules, regulations, policies and procedures for the property area and assist in protecting and safeguarding all property assets.
Provide information to guests regarding park pricing, attractions, special offers, and other pertinent information.
Information is to be completed either by personal interaction, by phone, by e-mail or by fax communications.
Coordinate and execute activities for groups.
Assist in receiving and processing all cash groups, birthday orders, and cabana reservations.
Responsible for daily online bookings of cabanas.
Responsible for scheduling and executing birthday parties.
Assist in creating, printing and mailing group information including proposals, mailers, event confirmations, and all other information.
Responsible for the accuracy of the tickets in the “will-call” box.
Audit, conduct and/or monitor 5-10 in park guest surveys daily.
Responsible for collecting Resort comment cards throughout Geyser Falls and The Beach Club.
Collect zip codes from front gate Infogenesis to establish demographics.
Attend Resort marketing meetings as necessary.
Responsible for keeping the group/birthday forms updated and in order.
Responsible for scheduling of birthday host associates, Monitor and uphold all guest service standards and safety and health regulations.
Must work closely with the Food and Beverage department with final numbers and all event details.
Maintains a working knowledge of facilities/outlets and special and upcoming events on property, in order to advise customers of same, whenever possible.
Communicates important, relevant information to following shift.
Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
Leads by setting a positive example to all associates.
All other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess excellent communication skills, both written communication including grammar and spelling and oral communication, including smiling, eye contact, professional speaking and positive body language.
Must possess the desire and ability to work with all age groups including small children.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
