Our team ensures integrity in requirements analysis and validation, design, implementation, integration, test, process evaluations and improvements, metrics, operational readiness, and sell-off to our customers.
As a Software Quality Engineer, you will apply advanced technical skills and knowledge to assess and resolve technical problems, guide program teams to successful and compliant milestones and bolster a culture of technical excellence and mission assurance through our people with available mentoring, training, and opportunities for advancement based on performance.
The successful candidate possesses a strong academic foundation and has experience in aerospace systems or engineering.
Responsibilities to Anticipate: Interface with cross-functional teams (Chief Engineer, Integrated Product Team Lead, Software Development team, and Security) as appropriate.
Participate in software design, development, integration, and test milestones.
Conduct product and/or process evaluation activities in support of continuous improvement.
Active participant in software release process including checksum verifications.
Participate in change control boards and assure actions are tracked to completion.
Peer Review software deliverables and documentation i.
e.
, contractor and subcontractor deliverables (Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Subcontractor Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs), test procedures, requirements verification traceability.
Interface with customer and Government Quality Assurance representatives in support of program, corporate, and third-party audits for AS9100 site certifications or assessments as needed.
Basic Qualifications: Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and two (2) years of engineering experience.
Working experience with Microsoft Office 0365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote).
Active and transferable U.

government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

citizenship is required, as only U.

citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 Quality Management Systems.
Knowledge in configuration management and control tools i.

, Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, common Product Data Management (cPDM), Subversion (SVN).
Working experience with Static and Dynamic Analysis tools and techniques.
Working experience with DevSecOps environment and tools, i.

Familiarity with command media.
Working experience with software problem reporting and root cause corrective action process.
Ability to utilize DevSecOps Metrics to monitor program performance and proliferate continuous improvement activities.
Effective interpersonal communication and ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to exercise sound judgement and apply decision-making skills with limited supervisory intervention.
Problem solving, critical technical assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
